Omar El Housni is an Assistant Professor at Cornell Tech in Operations Research and Information Engineering. His research revolves around dynamic optimization and decision-making under uncertainty where he aims to develop models and design algorithms to address a wide-range of operational problems. His current research focuses on the design of robust and efficient algorithms for sequential dynamic optimization problems with applications in revenue management, facility location and matching platforms. Omar holds a PhD in Operations Research from Columbia University and an MS and BS in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris).
