Prototyping is key to our studio culture at Cornell Tech.
Students are learning how to make rudimentary working models of their company and startup projects. It is important to prototype early in order to get feedback and iterate on a product.
One hindrance to frequent prototyping is the large amount of time it usually takes to code and design a prototype. While students have experimented with many different prototyping tools to simplify this process, one standout product is proto.io. The tool allows students to create simple versions of websites and apps without any coding.
Students have been using the tool and practicing prototyping in all of their classes including company projects in the fall and their startup projects this semester.
