Christine Sneva, Director of Enrollment and Student Services
It’s Admissions crunch time here at Cornell Tech. In just three years, Cornell Tech has grown immensely, in students, faculty, staff, and programs. I am thrilled to start the search for the next great cohorts in Computer Science, Connective Media, Healthier Life and Business.
One of the biggest questions we have been getting from prospective students is: Am I a fit for Cornell Tech?
The truth is there isn’t one mold that is a perfect “fit.” Cornell Tech is reinventing education in these fields. We’re an academic startup, which means we’re constantly evolving. Our students come from all over the world and have incredibly diverse backgrounds in the tech industry, government, Fortune 500 companies, health care, fashion, and much more. What they have in common is an entrepreneurial drive, a desire to effect change in the world, and the ability to thrive in a fast, startup-like environment.
Applying
While Cornell Tech accepts and reviews applications on a rolling basis, we encourage anyone interested in applying to do so as soon as possible. Prospective students in all master degree programs will be selected for invite-only interviews with our faculty.
If you’re unsure, we encourage you to visit us, talk to our students, alumni, faculty and staff. Throughout January and February there will be several information sessions and opportunities to visit the campus. For those who can’t get to New York, we’ll also be hosting Google Hangouts. You can find out more about these opportunities here: tech.cornell.edu/admissions.
If you have any questions, email us directly at admissions@tech.cornell.edu, and one of our staff members will be in touch.
